Ron and Fran Harris picked up a Conklin franchise and began building a customer base in Davis County, Iowa. Their focus from day one was personal service and products they could stand behind.

The operation moved to its current location at 14219 231st Street in West Grove. The same year, Harris Distributing partnered with Quality Plus Feeds out of St. Paul, Iowa, giving customers access to custom mill mixes for any species.

Harris Distributing became a Mix 30 liquid feed dealer, stocking and delivering Agridyne's high-energy protein supplement to cow-calf and stocker operations across the region. They eventually grew to shipping transport loads to producers across northern Missouri and much of Iowa.
